A meeting to evaluate educational processes for the 2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester was held by the Eskil Vocational School’s Department of Management and Organization on October 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
Chaired by the Acting Head of the Department of Management and Organization, Lecturer Dr. Zekiye ÖRTLEK, and attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah KILIÇARSLAN and Lecturer Dr. Musa ACAR, the meeting involved a comprehensive review of the Logistics Program's educational activities and quality assurance processes.
During the meeting, it was noted that the updates to the course information packages for the Logistics Program—carried out within the scope of the 2026-2027 academic year Bologna Process—had been completed. In this context, the following elements were addressed: course objectives and learning outcomes, alignment matrices linking these to program outcomes, ECTS student workloads, weekly course content, teaching methods and techniques, and assessment and evaluation methods. It was decided that the updated course information packages would be regularly checked and monitored as part of quality assurance procedures.
Furthermore, the meeting covered adjustments regarding courses that do not appear in the course information package despite their active or passive status; the monitoring of courses via the NOTA system or similar methods approved by the Unit Education Commission; procedures regarding student requests to freeze registration; and course exemption and academic adjustment processes conducted by the Adjustment Commission.
The meeting concluded with a decision to re-evaluate the results of the ongoing work and planned improvement activities at the next department meeting.
