The exam evaluation rates for the Logistics Program in the Management and Organization Department of Eskil Vocational School were discussed.

The Department of Management and Organization at Eskil Vocational School held its departmental board meeting on July 27, 2026, at 09:00 to determine the evaluation criteria for the Fall Semester of the 2026-2027 academic year.

The meeting, chaired by the Acting Head of the Department of Management and Organization, Lecturer Dr. Zekiye ÖRTLEK, was attended by department faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah KILIÇARSLAN and Lecturer Dr. Musa ACAR.

During the meeting, the midterm exam (vize) evaluation ratios to be applied in the Fall Semester of the 2026-2027 academic year were discussed in detail. As a result of the evaluations, it was decided that for all courses except those without midterm exams and those requiring process evaluation (project, seminar, internship, teaching practice, school experience, etc.), the total midterm exam evaluation ratio will be applied as 40%.

Furthermore, in order to more effectively evaluate students' academic progress during the semester, it was deemed appropriate to apply a 15% contribution of assignments, projects, practical work, portfolios, and similar semester/year-long activities to the raw grade, provided that these contributions are included within the 40% midterm exam evaluation. Accordingly, students' raw grades will be calculated by summing 40% of the midterm exam evaluation and 60% of the final exam evaluation.

This decision, taken in line with the opinions and suggestions of the department's faculty members, aims to strengthen unity and standardization in measurement and evaluation practices in the education and training processes.
