A Meet the Director Student Gathering Was Held at Eskil Vocational School During the Fall Semester of the 2026-2027 Academic Year

On October 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM, Aksaray University Eskil Vocational School hosted a "Ask the Director" student meeting, designed to allow students to convey their views, suggestions, and requests regarding their educational processes, social lives, and housing arrangements directly to the school administration.

The meeting was chaired by the Director of Eskil Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Mustafa ÖZ, and attended by Deputy Directors Dr. Zekiye ÖRTLEK and Dr. Osman DAĞAR, along with students from the Department of Management and Organization and the Department of Veterinary Services.

Aligned with a student-centered management approach and participatory decision-making processes, the event provided a platform for students to share their feedback and suggestions concerning educational activities, academic advising, physical and social facilities, as well as transportation and housing conditions.

During the meeting, improvements made by the Eskil Municipality to the student guesthouse—following requests raised in a previous "Student-Academician Meeting"—were also reviewed. Specifically, the discussion covered enhancements to the guesthouse’s heating, drinking water, hot water supply, internet services, and physical infrastructure. Furthermore, the meeting addressed the improvement of student transportation options and the fulfillment of students' social needs.

Responding to questions from the students, the Director of Eskil Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Mustafa ÖZ, emphasized that student input plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of education and services provided by the school. It was stated that the feedback received from students would be evaluated in collaboration with the relevant departments and that the subsequent improvement processes would be monitored.

The meeting also focused on reviewing the initiatives undertaken in response to requests raised during previous student gatherings, strengthening student participation in decision-making processes, and the importance of continuing efforts to enhance student satisfaction.

The meeting concluded with the collection of students' wishes and expectations, the assessment of the views and suggestions put forward, and the expression of a commitment to continue working toward increasing student satisfaction.
