Under the supervision of Osman DAĞAR, a trip to the Konya Agricultural Fair was organized with our students from the Department of Veterinary Medicine within the scope of the Livestock Mechanization course. Relevant stands were visited in the fair area of Agricultural Mechanization and Technologies, Tractor and Agricultural Machinery Sub-Industry, Milking Systems, Soil Processing Equipment. Milking systems have been seen in working order. At the same time, a visit to Konya Commodity Exchange was made. During this visit, our students were given training on product analysis in the product analysis laboratory. From there, they went to the session hall to sell products. Students were informed about product sales procedures by the relevant official. Afterwards, Smart Technologies Center AKITEK, an Application-Research Center affiliated with KTO Karatay University, was visited. AKITEK, with its technological infrastructure and qualified human resources, supports the development of smart and innovative technologies in all sectors, especially agricultural machinery. Here, the Foreign Trade Office, applied training classes, presentation and training of the mechanical engineers working in the institution on the parts, product development and production stages, and the Konya Model Factory were visited and information was obtained about the activities carried out there. The historical Obruk Inn and Obruk Lake, which date back to the 13th century, were visited.
